I am fpdoctr, a family physician.  I have been there and done that.  I have a passion for practicing medicine on my terms.  Having worked as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force, in private practice, in a remote clinic in Africa, and as an emergency room physician, I have a unique perspective on the practice of medicine.   If I am not working, I am traveling with my wife, mountaineering, skiing, blacksmithing, woodworking or planning the next adventure with a good glass of wine.  Please stay tuned for my musings on the current state of medicine in America, what I think of the newest drugs and TV commercials and my frank opinions on many related healthcare topics.  I might also include the occasional adventure update.
